Summer has been busy for all of us at Aster Gardens! From car shows to pancake breakfasts, outdoor pickleball, monthly brunches, mojitos on the rooftop and more, there really is so much to choose from every day.

We are happy to announce our pub is now open Thursday through Saturday! Our culinary team is serving up all kinds of refreshments and fare for residents, friends, and family.

Stuff the Bus!

On September 2nd, our community participated in National Food Bank Day where we stuffed our bus with 479 lbs of donations for the Strathcona Food Bank. We had a lot of food, and lots of fun, but most importantly, it was a wonderful opportunity to give back to our community. Thank you to all those who came and participated!

A Summer of Fun

This month was full of activity, with Pub Night, ladder golf, soapstone carving, and even some macrame crafting. There was never a dull moment. Ladder golf was a hit! Residents were frequently found outdoors participating in some healthy competition. Residents learned the art of soapstone carving, creating butterflies and birds among many other objects. We are already looking forward to the next time. A resident favourite activity this month was crafting macrame leaves. Working with these intricate details keeps motor skills active and sharp.

Emergency Preparedness Week

A big thanks to the Strathcona County Fire Department for joining us for Emergency Preparedness Week. It was a great experience to meet the amazing professionals helping our community.
